Babel is an intertwining story that takes place in the States, Morroco, Mexico and Japan. 4 different stories. 4 different locations. 1 connecting plot.
The flick starts off in:
- Morroco, home of a poor shepard family armed with a newly bought rifle.
- A nanny who tried something that’s not worth it.
- A wedding turned bad.
- and a girl desperate of love
Amazingly, these different stories has a relevant connectivity. Watch it and you’ll be amazed.
I must say that the movie has that indie touch to it, and i love every bit of it. Its fresh. Its addicting. You will sit on the edge of your seat, waiting for whats gonna happen next. Starring Brad Pitt as the lead, its no wonder Babel won an award in the Golden Globe and also Oscar nominees.
The movie score is also worth checking out. Or hearing out. I was reminded of Bourne Identity-meets-Black Hawk Down.
With excellent art direction and cinematography, I give Babel 8 out of 10 stars. Watch it. You better.
