Now that pisses me off.

Stumbled upon this site which covers almost all (maybe) of the webhosting companies out there. I was impressed! Being webhosting geeks, i bet they can not resist putting up a table/chart thingy for the top 10 web hosting providers out there.

So what have i learnt from this new wave of information? Some providers charge a bomb for domain registration. While some had kick ass features for as low as $4 per month. Going to do more research on this. Currently im on a reseller plan at $XX per month. So i need the same features + the php send mail feature to be available, PLEASE!.

Jason Mraz. Where do i begin?

What was meant to be a post birthday present, turned into a spectacular experience that’s permanently etched in my head. That man was born to perform.
Tickets were sold out almost 4 days after sales were commenced, but i have a lil secret to tell you. That, at the end of this entry.

Mraz sang some of my favourite tunes like Who Needs Shelter and Mr Curiosity, apart from his other radio friendly hits. Too bad he didn’t sing Please Don’t Tell Her. I would love to hear that live. And Plane and Bella Luna…
Beautiful Mess was beautifully rendered and it was bloody beautiful i tell ‘ya.
I observed that the crowd were more riled up with his radio hits, but not hyped at all with his other album tracks.

Who’s Joyce Chua again? Or was it Chia? I don’t know. She and Mraz did a duet for yes, that song, “Lucky“.
I shall not comment on her performance/stage persona/chemistry but her stylist is in deep trouble i bet. Just look at the photo will you? Tell me what on earth is that…thing?!

And oh, because of the ‘full house’ , the missus and i didnt manage to sit beside each other. Instead, we were given tickets one row apart. I didn’t mind. But hey, LOTS of people decided not to turn up (o’rly?) on our block so the missus and i enjoyed the show side by side, shouting like teenage groupies. Ah, bliss..
So for those who didn’t get any tickets, i know how you feel. (especially Noi hehehe)

So that’s the end of the show. Next up, the battle of the carpark! It took me 30′ish minutes to get out of that damned carpark because some people were not clever enough to give way and basically be considerate. Bah humbug. Supper by the east coast beach made up for it. Yummeh~

But first, here’s one creative use of stickers/Labels at home, DIY style. Decorate your favourite home decor items with stickers! Print your designs, or even photos or friends, and paste ‘em up! A clever way to liven up old stuffs.

Folgers Coffee uses the steam of manholes to promote their line of coffee. I think it’s cool, really!

Saatchi & Saatchi helped Auckland’s cable tv to promote the launch of Batman Begins on TV2. Stickers were placed on footpath lights. At night when the lights were on, beams of light shone. CLEVER!

There are many other ways to advertise the guerilla style. Here is a good example of an event invitation, targetting a certain demographic. In this case, they were targetting daredevils… on bikes!

The BMX Scary Jump in Milano, Italy, was a huge hit when these stickers ended up on random bicycles. Creating awareness for a certain target group, this method really works and at the same time clever and witty. Kudos to the team at Leo Burnett!

The possibilites are endless. Headstart your advertising campaign with custom labels and see the results for youself! Trust me, it will attract attention.
