I hate the promotion. Yeah you read that right!
I was promoted earlier this month. 2 promotions in a year, not bad huh? But im not loving it. Super early mornings. Stupid clients who wants the impossible. Lesser time for my own personal stuffs. Lesser time for the missus. Frankly darling im telling you, i feel the pinch too. And i miss you.
Oh, and the boss gave me a gift. A freaking alarm clock. I have been punctual 99.9% most of the time (if you minus off the days where im late for a freaking 5 minutes) Hey boss man, what ya saying here buddy?
So i got pissed, the moment the photoshoot ended, i went back to the office and doodled on the box. Haha.
So yeah i was saying lesser time for myself and my love ones. So the missus and me caught a movie last friday. Borat. Which is rather old. And i’ve already watched it and she hasn’t so i said why not. Seriously darling, i don’t mind. At all. Borat is a must see. Movie ended sometime before midnight and i decided to bring her to starbucks, have a drink and talk. Just talk. You know i miss talking. Like i mean it. Everyday i talk to clients and try to understand their needs and at the same time having this fake smile plastered on my face. Its fake. All of it is hollywood. But this moment with her was different. I can’t recall when was the last time i sat down with her, sipping a cuppa and talking bout simply everything. Its nice. And i really miss that. 
The next day the boys hooked me up for a late night drive to nowhere. So someone (me) decided to have durians under the stars. At 3am. Bought a few, drove off the beach and voila. The fruit was so rich and intoxicating, i felt feverish the moment i got home.
So today is a rest day for me. Gotta wake up early for a photoshoot tomorrow. And of course spend some quality time with my bed.
