A fresh new identity since 1975! Designed by Brandimage, i really think this new look works and i like the new direction of the logo. Say goodbye to race nascar-like stripes that didn’t quite match up to what their niche is. Take all that away and replace it with a ribbon-like icon and sleek type…what

Say hello to Kraft’s new image. Don’t panic! I feel the same way too. Apparently, the change applies only at the corporate level and keeping the original logo as the consumer brand, so the next time you have your fix of cheese in your homemade quarter pounder, the logo will still be there. But still,

finally update jugak mamat ni. anyway, the new one looks more sleek and more ‘modern’. gives it an edge!

Definitely looking sleeker with the sharper edges… even though it looks like a transformed bird than a kangaroo to me this time. Hahaha…
Interestingly, Qantas is one of the few airlines with the least air traffic accidents.

it doesn’t look like a kango…
altho it looks cooler.

The roo looks like a robot. Roo version 2.0?
I like the typeface though. Gives the impression that Qantas is ‘going places’. I see movement and speed in the typeface, compared to the rather static-looking one in the old logo. Nice!

the roo seems to be doing a standing board jump… very nice!!!!

Okay, wtf just happened to my sentence. I meant:
Or does it look like the kangaroo is looking more like a dinosaur.

I think the font style doesn’t suit the new stylized roo – which hasa cleaner more defined look. Much Sleeker Roo. The font style – yes it does give me the impression of being more suited for F&B brands. It’s fat rounded edges – definitely doesn’t seem to fit. The Roo’s good, font style no good.

*curl the side of my mouth*
hmm.
i don’t feel the “freshness” at all.
aldoh now, i think the kangaroo has more head now.
and they change from bright red to a darker red.
the kangaroo is with bigger tail, bigger and there’s some visible space in between the arms and body and huge feet.
and yeah, ‘qantas’ text is slanted, few degrees more to the right.
why wud they actually invest in millions of money, to have slight changes?
if no one reports about this, i think no one wud actually realise.
dis goes into ‘money goes down the drain- rebranding project ‘, together with marina bay.

I thought the rebranding exercise was fantastic although I’m not too sure about the font when the logo is used as a standalone.
ANyhow the application looks fantastic. It looks great on the planes and on the corporate collaterals. I must say I really like the new look. No doubt at one look it looked no different than the older logo but this really looks sleeker, more dynamic and very current. Definitely a logo that could last another 20+ years before the next change.
I’d say well done! Two thumbs up!
London 2012 please take notes!!

nice new logo… not much changed, but pretty cool nonetheless.

hmm.. the roo look more hot hip cool and happening. prolly not.
i wouldn’t have realised they actually made some subtle changes to the logo.
yea, there are factors in which they can’t give a complete makeover to the logo or else they hafta start doing sum rebranding (or whatever the terminology wud be).
i think they shd just save the money on revamping the logo, and using them on giving free flight tickets for ppl. kan lagi charitable. HAH.
