Sing it Michael!
Im a fan, no doubt ’bout it. And im not gay.
He’s totally a cool crooner, dubbed the modern version of Frank Sinatra or even Dean Martin. Some may say “oh he’s just doing covers, that’s all!”. But i say he does it with a big bang!
If you don’t like soft soothing songs, Michael Bublé is not your cup of tea. But may i introduce you to some of his songs. Years ago i fell in love with his rendition of That’s All and Kissing a Fool. In 2003, i spent 15+ hours in a bus, from Singapore to Thailand with these songs accompanying me. I was even thinking, “Whoa, i gotta sing one of these songs on my wedding day”.
In 2005 i was devastated when i missed his promotional album concert right here in SG. ARGH I HATE YOU NS! It’s Time was a masterpiece from Mr Buble himself! Especially that duet with Nelly Furtado when she still had that ‘girl next door’ image. This was the album that brought us “Home”, a track that’s so widely known by now. “Home” was a self composed/written piece by Michael.
Now with his latest album Call Me Irresponsible, i fell in love again with a couple of his hits. His rendition of “Me & Mrs Jones” is spot on! “Everything” is another track that sweet. Let me introduce you to one song that’s been on my playlist. It’s called “Lost“.

OK lah. I also happen to listen to his songs too. But does he talk like how he sing too ? I mean, his vocals are very deep.

i like Buble. And I think ‘Home’ is one of his best songs ever. I can really listen to him in my long bus rides home from school…

Yea.. Buble is really good. Honestly being a Sinatra fan, I actually hated him when he first released his album. Soon enough I warmed up to him. Heyy this chap may be doing covers but he really gave justice to the songs.
Yea and screw my reservist in-camp for disallowing me to take leave during his last concert here!!

but not totally out, cos its still his niche.
i like how his voice has this sexaye-enigmatic-feel to it.

Over does it on the covers? Are you joking? No one accused Harry Connikc Jr. of this and his early CD’s were all covers! He must have re done every Johnny Mercer song. Michael Buble is good. Plain and simple. This genre is very small and it’s hard to do original stuff.

yeah, buble is realy good, I like listening to his hits especially the hit feeling good
