The corporate retreat last friday went superbly well. Good food, good company and a freakingly strong masseuse, what more can i ask for?! Food was ok, it could have been better. How about unlimited servings/scoops of Haagen Dazs? Our wishes came true, cos hips don’t lie.
The secret santa was fun. Now we finally know who our secret santa is! I think the whole gang was surprised i was the secret santa for the intern girl, cos everyone was quite! haha. I got her a clutch bag, which was overbudget, and i got a ciggarette holder from my secret santa, Kim Cia Xian. She’s Korean. I love it. and its shiny, i love shiny metallic things.
Next came the massage! I was paired with the other intern guy, a great young chap full of talent. He had some oil massage therapy while i had the Shiatsu massage. Apparently, Shiatsu is an old, traditional Japanese healing method. Using only fingers. But no, Ms. Godzilla there was practically tearing my muscles apart and ripping off my limbs. It was a love-hate thing for me. I loved it. Some part of it. Pain only came in when she suddenly reminded me of Lucy Liu in Charlie’s Angel. I said goodbye to my family when she casually said “Relax Mister” and cracked my neck, my back, my.. ok you get it.
Overall experience, i give Andana Spa 8 out of 10 stars. The staff were accomodating, friendly and the masseuse was strong. Oh, and the masseuse was strong.
