Its Sunday and i’m stuck in the office. With great power comes great responsibility. Damn you Spidey!
The magazine’s deadline is tomorrow. Wish us luck. Watch out for the Christmas issue of Home Concepts magazine. Mr Malique’s ugly face gonna be in it! Hahah.
I have to admit, i’m a workaholic. So much that i’m neglecting a few loved ones. 
Like the missus, and mom. Last Thursday was an emotional one for me, when i got home. Mom being mom, she was waiting for me to come home. It was near to 1am. I opened the door and there she was, lying on the couch. It was a touching sight yet a heart breaking one. I don’t want my work schedule/pattern to be affecting her. I tried to close the door as slowly and silent as possible, trying not to wake her up. But her spidey sense was good. She went “oh you’re home. let me heat up dinner, have you eaten? i’ll get you a drink” , while rubbing her eyes. I told her its ok and that she should go to bed now.
I managed to spend some time with the missus last night. We went to the beach. At night. HAH! I don’t mind man, as long as i’m spending time with her. I felt like being distant from her ever since i started work at the new place. We try our best to inject love in every single thing we do. One good example; She wakes me up every morning always starting with a “good morning sunshine…”
So what is love?
Love is waiting for you to get home and waking you up every morning. 
What is your definition of love? Care to share? I’m all ears. 
I don’t usually do personal blog entries here but today its an exception.

hmmm… i dunno if love should have a definition. It is just…. there! It doesn’t need a reason, it doesn’t take a definite form.
ok, I haven’t found my love. So ignore the above paragraph.
In my opinion, love is when you are old and grey, you still hold hands with the one and only spouse you have been with your whole life…. still loving and caring for each other.
Even with all the differences, and all the ups and downs that you have gone through together, you still can look at each other and remember the first days you met that wonderful person.
Just ask my dearie, when we both walk down the streets, its not the young couples holding hands that I take note of. Its the old, slow-walking and grey couples holding hands (even with the walking sticks and all) that I look out for…
Then again, many people see love in many different ways… Its up to YOU to define it

Agreed that love should not have a definition, because ultimately it’s not the same to everyone. To some, love is like the movie: “A Walk To Remember” and others, simply listening.
But to me, you can’t really find love when you’re looking. It looks for you, and hits you when you least expect it.
ditto ditto! what is love? only you will find it yourself. and when you look back on things, you’ll know what love really means.

In my opinion, love is supporting each other thru ups and downs. To me its simply doing something for your loved one without being asked.

Love is lust bundled with respect and responsibility. Lost any of it, and you will soon lose your love. At 45, I have not found mine, yet! As mine has always been nothing but lust.
i heard, love also comes in many different forms. The famous one being money.
No money, no honey. So you see, there is no such thing called love.
Mr. Malique, I think you are actually guilty of neglecting your mom & missus. I guess you have found your true love there. Keep on loving them!
