eh i’ve been on a saving Gaia mode too! i wish i could have one of those folding bikes BUT! since my boarding station is Bukit Batok and i’m going towards the city… the train is already super packed to the door and if i bring in a folding bike into the train the rest of the commuters would be swearing at me! sighs. i move to woodlands can?

-Bikes save the environment
-Save money on Parking/Fines/Maintenance
-You can’t be Fined as much as using a motorbike/car (unless u are a real two-wheeled devil)
-You can ride on both the pavement and the road w/o getting much rude stares. (if u are a rule-follower, ignore this).
-You can wear a cool-looking helmet.

trust me, it just takes a relatively big group of people to show that biking can be a decent mode of transportation and everyone will soon follow suit. singapore’s standard of living is nowhere getting low, low, low, low, low, low, low….

i think in some of the countries, they have this movement called “critical mass”, in which people ride bike as the form of transportation.

Oh, if you don’t mind japanese movies, there’s a movie called Messenger, in which the courier on bike won the courier on motorbike.
